"Your appearance really doesn't matter much in radio, right? Sure it does when you do as many personal appearances and speaking engagements, live broadcasts, and even games on TV as I do. Dr. Miller gave me a smile that has made me much more confident, and frankly, has helped me land more play-by-play jobs on television. I no longer try to hide my teeth. In fact, I'm smiling a lot more and people are noticing the difference that Dr. Miller made for me."

Three-time Winner - Pittsburgh March of Dimes A.I.R. Award for Best Sports Play-By-Play
Dear Dr. Miller:
This is just a short note to let you know how much I enjoyed being your patient and how pleased I have been with both the restorative and cosmetic dental services you have provided to me over the past ten years. In our current fast-paced health care environment, it is a pleasure to be listened to with patience and caring, and treated as an individual and partner in creating and maintaining the best dental health and smile possible. In addition to your high level of competence, you consistently make the newest sate of the art techniques available to your patients. I would also like to commend your staff members for their professionalism and commitment to making patients feel as comfortable as possible.
As you know, I never hesitate to recommend you to my friends because I know they will receive excellent, painless treatment in a pleasant and caring environment.
Thank you for the extraordinary patient-centered care that you provide. I am looking to a few more decades of having a great smile thanks to you.
Sincerely,
Cynthia K., Health care Administrator.
Dear Dr. Miller:
I would like to express to you and your staff my sincere gratitude for your outstanding service and the professional care that has always been the hallmark of your dental practice.
As you know so well since my arrival in Pittsburgh in 1982 you have been my dentist. I have always been satisfied. And I continue to be satisfied.
In 1958, I lost a tooth in the front of my mouth and since that time have had a partial. Recently it became necessary for me to have a replacement. The Equipoise partial that you have provided and skillfully crafted for me is unbelievable. It fits extremely well making me at ease with its appearance as well as its usefulness.
My sincere thanks for your care, concern and professional manner.
Sincerely,
Sister Marylouise F., Ed. D.
For the past 60 years I have worn a partial (actually several different ones) to replace teeth lost in basketball as a child. Last year the partial was replaced with an Equipoise partial holding three replacement teeth. It has been a delight! It fits tightly, allows eating any foods I choose, and certainly looks like my real teeth. I highly recommend this dental procedure knowing it will satisfy my dental demands.

I have had a history of dental problems and recently returned to Dr. Miller after six years of not receiving any dental care. When I had some dental problems in February of this year I went to Pitt Dental School. They pulled some lower teeth and said that surgery would be necessary on bone growths in order for me to wear partials. I sought the advice of an oral surgeon who referred me back to Dr. Miller.
Dr Miller told me that surgery would not be necessary and discussed and recommended an Equipoise partial. The Equipoise partial was started in June 2004 and finished in August 10, 2004.
The partial feels good and is very comfortable. Before the partial I did not want to smile. Now I am much more confident in my smile. I didn't realize how much I missed smiling until I started wearing the partial. Now I can eat food I haven't eaten for years!
I am so glad I can wear the partial without having surgery. I am very pleased with the partial and the service I received from Dr. Miller, his assistant Kolleen and office coordinator Judy.
Sincerely,
Valerie R.
I was recommended to Dr. Stephen Miller by my regular dentist, who felt that he could do nothing more for me. I have been in Dr. Miller's care for the past five years. In that time, I have had many surgical procedures on my mouth, for both medical and cosmetic reasons, including caps, crowns and major gum surgery to stop constant bleeding. As a result of these procedures, I can now enjoy eating without the worry of breaking my teeth. My smile has also improved; it has regained its former beauty, and, as a result, I have a healthier general appearance. I would recommend Dr. Miller to anyone who is facing major dental surgery; if he can do as much for them as he did for me, it will be money and time well spent.
Sincerely,
Darlene C.
I have been a patient of Dr. Stephen Miller since January of 2006. My initial visit was for a second opinion and teeth whitening. Well, I never got my teeth whitened, but what I did end up getting was a long journey to dental implants and a healthy mouth. After examination, Dr. Miller and his office staff arranged for me to go to a periodontist and then an oral surgeon in Pittsburgh. I was quite satisfied with everything. The thing I liked the most was that Dr. Miller always gave me reasoning for his diagnosis, plus he always kept me in the loop, with communication and no secrets. This journey was a long one, but Dr. Miller always kept track of my case, despite visits to other professionals. He always stayed in contact with the other physicians and spoke to them on my behalf. Dr. Miller's office staff is the best, they are always there to support your needs. They are always willing to go out of their way to help you and keep you in the comfort zone. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone.

Dear Dr. Miller,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the outstanding dental work you have performed since I became your patient in the Spring of 1995. I am delighted that I no longer have a mouth full of silver colored fillings, but instead, attractive white cosmetic onlays. As an epidemiologist, I especially know the important health benefits of well cared for teeth over and above the value of nice appearance. I would be most pleased to be a reference for any patients who are contemplating similar work.
Sheryl K., Ph.D.
Dear Dr. Miller,
I am writing to express my gratitude for your excellent work needed to complete my complicated dental needs the past three years. As you know, severe periodontal, orthodontic, and structural problems requiring the removal of a fixed prosthesis, the addition of implants, and the reconstruction of a totally new prosthetic approach. The results are excellent, both structurally and cosmetically. Your technical skills as well as those of your staff are to be commended, as is the responsiveness, persistence, and sense of humor necessary to complete such an arduous process.
Jerry S., Ph.D.
Dear Doctor Miller,
After coming to you for nearly 14 years, I think it is high time that I wrote to thank you for all the good care I've gotten in that time. There was, of course, a certain amount of "drill 'em and fill 'em" that most good dentists can do in their sleep, but they don't do it as cheerfully or as caringly as you always have. I remind you that I have met a lot of dentists in my long life, both as a patient and also as a clinical photographer, and so I have a good basis for judgment.
But there were more serious matters that you took care of for me. The several root canals that I had to go through with you were handled expertly and with great care for my possible pain, which (happily) you and your fine staff were always able to keep to the absolute minimum. When we ran into difficulties that you believed required a specialist's intervention, you always put me in the hands of people like yourself: expert, considerate and careful practitioners. And as far as the cosmetic results were concerned, with your sharp eye for color, you were more careful about getting a perfect match than I was.
It has always been evident to me that you enjoy your work-it's not just a job to you, but a responsible profession. Over all these years, every time I came to your cheerful, well run office it cost me a 120 mile round trip. (How many miles was that I wonder?) Nevertheless, I don't ever intend to entrust my care to a local dentist as long as I can possibly find a way to get to you from Indiana. I shall always be happy to share my opinion of my experiences under your care with anyone interested. You won my respect a long time ago; it's high time that I let you know my gratitude with this letter.
Sincerely,
Irving G., Professor
Dr. Miller,
I know it is way over due but I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work you have done on my teeth. I knew you were the dentist for me when I walked into your office for my consultation and you knew right off the bat that I had two false upper lateral incisors. Now, not only do my teeth look real but they are bright white too. I couldn't be happier! A smile tells a lot about a person and I am completely satisfied with my improvements. Having this cosmetic dentistry work done has given me a boost of confidence and makes me feel better all around. You and your staff have really won my approval! Thanks again for everything.
Alysha A.

Dear Dr. Miller and Staff,
THANK YOU so incredibly much for your friendly, expert and attentive care over the last several months! I never thought I could enjoy going to the dentist, but you surely have proved me wrong. You've continually exceeded my expectations and have gone above and beyond to get my smile ready for the wedding. Mike and I truly appreciate all you've done for me - and for us. Thank you, again, for such a wonderful experience.
Gratefully,
Lauren P.
Dear Dr. Miller and Staff,
I will be truning 95 years young on November 10th. Along with this milestone, I will be celebrating another anniversary, the (almost) ten year anniversary of my Equipoise partials for both the upper and lower teeth. I have enclosed a photograph of myself enjoying a delicious European baquette (including the hard crust) and butter on my recent trip to Germany. I could not have experienced this culinary pleasure without my expertly fitted partials.
For the past 10 years, these partials have functioned well and have proven to be comfortable. They provide me with aesthetic and cosmetic benefits (I can smile proudly) as well as with the mechanical/nutritious benefits (of being capable of chewing most foods)! I thank you for helping me solve my dental dilemma with the partials and I hope to enjoy (limited) baquettes with butter for years to come!
Sincerely,
Ilse Stein
